The Indonesian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Ms. Gustina Tobing has met the President of Sri Lanka Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Office today, Tuesday the 25th.
Ms. Gustina Tobing has congratulated the new government as well as an official congratulation was given by the Indonesian government to the Sri Lankan President, also mentioned at the time were the steps taking to strengthen the 70-year friendship between the two countries.
The ambassador noted that Sri Lanka and the Indonesian government has made a contemporary election victory and will support the “Clean Sri Lanka” programme started by the current government of Sri Lanka and has worked to implement such program in Indonesia as well.

Today this discussion focused on the creation of colourful trade agreements and free trade agreements between Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
Discussed here was also about the expansion of market profitable for both countries while strengthening the existing economic society and cultural ties between Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
President Senior Additional Secretary Roshan Gamage, Indonesian Deputy President Fiki Oktanio (Fiki Oktanio) also joined the event.
